Dr John Hall urges church leaders to “be sensitive … [with those who] are traumatised by their ordeals … don’t push them too hard … the first thing to do is to listen to them”
His advice is to preach Christ and the love of God; use biblical illustrations; love and encourage God’s people; praying that they will trust and submit to God’s will and hope in the coming glory.

To help those affected by disaster, church leaders need to learn the Scriptures, seek wisdom, serve, be prepared learn from their own troubles and love those they seek to help.
