At Root Hill Youth Camp in 2018 we had a number of different evening speakers.
The third of these was Jim Sayers. Jim worked for Grace Baptist Mission for many years and now leads a church plant in Didcot called Grace Church Didcot.
Jim challenged us about what sets the rhythm of our spiritual world? Is it the things of the world? Or is it the drum beat of the Lord Jesus? Which one are you going to follow? When suffering comes, which way will you go?

At Root Hill Youth Camp in 2018 we had a number of different evening speakers.
The second of these was Chris Hawthorne. Chris was a pastor in London for many years before moving (with this family) to be the Principal of a Proclamation Institute Zambia, a Bible College in Zambia, Africa.
Chris challenged us about living a Holy Life. About not giving up even when we feel so inadequate, but to persevere in godliness and as dearly loved children follow the Father's example.

The first of these was Ashkan Samardi of Derby Road Baptist Church, Watford.
Ashkan spoke from Luke 14 about the terms and conditions that Christ wants us to be aware of when we choose to follow him and accept the free gift of eternal life. Ashkan takes us through to look at the criteria that speaks about, the questions he poses and finally the warning that he gives.

Sukesh Pabari was converted from a Hindu background, he went on to be a missionary in Kenya for 16 years and now is pastor of a church in Clevedon. He preached through tears on the centrality of the cross from 1 Cor. 2:2.
